I thought that the retreat was worth my time because it helped me grow not only as a writer, but personally. I highly recommend more retreats to come as they have and our beneficial.

Mary Beth’s writer’s retreat was a joy! I came knowing I would get a lot more focused time writing (sorely needed in a busy household), learn valuable information and tips for better writing, and ways to accomplish my goals for book publishing. What I didn’t know I needed but definitely experienced was sisterhood from fellow LDS, Christian women. I felt connection, support and love from Mary Beth and these amazing women who I didn’t know, but could now call friends too. Friends from different backgrounds and walks of life; we shared deeply and learned from one another. We bonded and it was beautiful! Something I didn’t expect to experience. We also played games at night, ate great food, told stories, and laughed a lot too. I feel recharged and renewed to accomplish great things this year, and to support and cheer on my new friends in doing the same!
